What date should I RSVP by?
Please RSVP by no later than June 20, 2025
Where is the ceremony? Where is the reception?
It's all happening at Bellwoods Brewery, located at 124 Ossington Ave in Toronto (there is a Bellwoods Bottleshop on Hafis Rd - if you go there, you will be in the wrong place).
Is there parking at the venue?
Unfortunately, Bellwoods Brewery does not have accessory parking.
Ossington is quite a busy street and, while there is street parking and several small parking lots nearby (1117 Dundas St W, 18 Ossington Ave and 1056 Queen St W), spaces are hot commodities on weekends and may be hard to come by.
We recommend ditching the car and taking the TTC or an Uber (or Lyft if that's your jam). If you must drive, you might want to build in some extra time for driving around looking for a spot.
Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Technically everything will be indoors, but Bellwoods has a beautiful partially-covered patio that we plan to take advantage of throughout the day—rain or shine.
What if I'm feeling sick?
The best gift you can give us is making sure we stay healthy as we head straight to Iceland for our honeymoon on Sunday!
We trust you will use your judgment, but if you’re feeling a little under the weather, please wear a mask. If you’re very sick, we kindly ask that you stay home to rest—we’d love to celebrate with you another time and would be happy to plan a dinner once we’re back from Iceland.
Where should I stay if I am coming from out of town?
If you aren't a local and are staying the night, the Drake Hotel and Gladstone Hotel are lovely boutique hotels, both within walking distance from Bellwoods. But you will want to book your room as soon as you can!
What is the dress code for your wedding?
If you know anything about us, you know that we are not going to tell you what to wear. If you still want some guidance, the vibe is a whimsical summer night in the City. Unfussy, semi-formal/dressy casual/cocktail chic—we want you to be comfortable and express yourself!
What time should I arrive?
Please arrive at Bellwoods Brewery for 4:30 pm. The ceremony will start at 5pm sharp.
Are children invited to the wedding?
We love your little ones, but our wedding is strictly adults-only—our cats aren't even invited. So book a sitter, enjoy a night off, and we promise plenty of grown-up fun!
What's for dinner?
Get excited! Bellwoods head chef Jay Browne is curating a delectable family-style dinner just for us.
What does "family-style dinner" mean?
This means that you don't need to pick between chicken, meat, or veg. All dishes are shared by the table. While there will be lots of options for everyone, if you have any allergies or dietary restrictions, please let us know when you RSVP.
Will there by an open bar?
Yes (and don't worry, even though it's a brewery, there will be wine, cocktails, and low ABV/non-alc options).
What time will your wedding reception end?
Our reception will end when Catherine gets tired or when Bellwoods kicks us out—whatever comes first. If Catherine can make it till the end, then approximately 1am. But feel free to leave whenever is comfortable for you!
Where is your registry?
After almost a decade together, we've already collected all the toasters and towels we need and we literally do not have the space for a single extra item in our home. So, no registry here.
If you'd like to honour us with a gift, there will be a card box at the wedding.
Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?
During the ceremony: No, thanks!
Any other time: Yes, absolutely!
We understand that many, if not all guests, will want a ceremony photo of us to frame for their mantle, or print onto a blanket for their beds, and we will send you a few after if requested.
